Your primary goal is to properly organize staff members and achieve a reasonable work flow throughout the day. Your position will also include directing, disciplining, training, and assisting lower-level manufacturing employees in a factory setting.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Job Responsibilities:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Helps manufacturing staff achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Enforces company policies and guidelines<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Recruits, hires, and trains employees<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Assists workers by offering personal growth opportunities<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Implements cost-saving strategies and techniques<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Ensures that production plans are completed by a certain time<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Contacts appropriate sources for repair issues<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Counsels employees on how to achieve an optimal output or workflow<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Resolves issues and disputes between manufacturing employees<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Creates and maintains professional schedules<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Communicates with and assists other manufacturing departments as needed<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Evaluates the condition of production equipment<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Compiles and analyzes production records<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Position requirements:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Previous supervisory experience<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Excellent coaching and communication skills<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Ability to track expenses and compile budget reports<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Broad knowledge of production planning processes<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Strategic planning skills<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Comfortable working in an automotive manufacturing environment<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Understanding of machine controls and instrumentation<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Pay Rate: $25k-50k per year<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Days\/Hours (shift): Monday- Friday(8am-5pm)(3:30pm-11:30pm)&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*Hours are subject to change depending on work load, must be flexible.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a production supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a diverse and talented manufacturing team.
